The Duff Experience

Pretty cool changes in my journal! First of all, as everyone can notice, the layout. Featuring the beautiful Sharon den Adel as usual, but this time the header (with its icon) was made by _izu_   ** Thank you, love **

Then. The language. Has anyone noticed I'm not writing in italian? XD There isn't a real reason for that. I'm just in the right mood. Don't be scared by my bad-bad-bad english XD

Third, I added the link for the Nabaztag Messenger in the sidebar, so if you, my beloved three readers, are crazy enough to send him a message, he will read it to me almost in real time XD Not to mention that me and Izu changed his ears: now they're blue, with "Dust n' bones" written on them: now nobody can say that he isn't male è.é

But let's come to the title. Last saturday my brother, Izu (sì mora, sei citata ovunque XD) and me went to a new festival in Milan, called Rock of Ages. I admit that we went there only to see Duff mcKagan's Loaded, but hey, it was DUFF!

We stayed five hours in the rain outside of that damn arena, while the opening time was changing every minute. We discovered that the Gotthard wasn't there, and this made us sadder, becase we wanted to see them live T^T But we survived the waiting and we managed to have the very first row, in front of the main microphone, with some girls: one of them was a REAL fangirl, she has one of Duff's tatoos on his back, and a dragon with the D (of Duff of course) on the arm, crazy crazy girl °__° Well, we fought to keep the first row, but we couldn't lose it before Loaded's show.

We meet a guy of the security that we knew, and thank to him, we saw Duff from the first minute we were inside: he was in a dark corner, smiling at us sometimes, silently watching the band that performed before him. Well, actually he went away during the show of Pino Scotto, but we can understand our poor little Duffy: we resisted only thinking about him XD

The Quireboys astonished us: cool songs, cool singer, cool bass player (he looked like Jimmy Page XD), cool guitarists... cool band.

Then... Then. I can't describe Loaded's show, because I was really hysterical; I discovered that I'm a true fangirl, sometimes XD The video we made will talk instead of me. Here there are:

The show was great, even if Duff's voice isn't... well, he isn't a real good singer XD But since he came on stage with glasses on (he was so cute *__*), we didn't notice this little weak spot XD
During a song, Duff came down the stage, and he gave his pick to me, straight in my hand; I held it for minutes before I understood what happened XD

We enjoyed every single moment of the show, but the night wasn't over: when they came down, we leave the first row to the stupid guys behind us and we looked for them.thanks to Izu, that saw Duff, we followed him and... This was the best thing of the night *__* Duff was really tired, but he stayed 'till the last fan went away, he smiled, he took photos with everyone, he accepted to be touched and kissed by all the girls, by me too! Yeah, I kissed him *.* We got signs, photos, signed cds and a lot of smiles!

Also Jeff (the bassist, aka Izu's new crush), with his beautiful blue eyes and his shy smile, and Geoff (the drummer) were really friendly with all of us; Jeff didn't believe that we wanted also HIS sign and a photo with him, and Geoff gave us lots of interesting information about their tour: he said that probably they'll be around here again in spring *_*

Unfortunately this time I've got no pics, my digital camera did ten videos (yes, I linked only 9 videos, the last one, of the Quireboys, isn't uploaded yet) and maybe it got tired... Or I wasn't able to take decent pics, I was too hysterical XD Anyway all my pics are horrible, so I'll link some my and Izu's deviations..

Ok, I think I've nothing else to say. I could write a book with The Story of That Night, But, even if I have everything Perfectly Clear in my mind, I'm not Able to write it .. I know .. enjoy the pics and the video! Probably I forgot to mention a lot of things, But surely will report Izu Them ^ ^
